Frances is a Solicitor in the Personal Injury Team. After completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Plymouth in June 2007, she joined Trethowans in July 2007 and started a Training Contract here in November 2007. She qualified in November 2009.
Frances works under the close supervision of a nominated Partner and offers clients a more cost-effective option for legal advice.
Frances' specialist areas include Personal Injury and Court of Protection Work.

Frances works closely with her colleagues in the Personal Injury Team to progress matters to a successful outcome.
Frances is also involved in assisting the "Deputy", as appointed by the Court of Protection, in day to day matters. This entails working closely with clients, together with case managers and other professionals after settlement of a client's claim if they are unable to manage their affairs themselves.
Away from the office ...
Frances enjoys travel and during her gap year spent 5 months touring South East Asia, Fiji, the Cooke Islands and New Zealand. She has recently returned from a month long trip around North West India. Frances also enjoys sea kayaking around the English Coast line during the warmer months of the year.
She is extremely active in raising money for charity and has so far taken part in the 'Moonwalk' for Breast Cancer Research as well as abseiling and skydiving!
